North Carolina State Scholarships & Grants

Funded by the State to provide financial assistance to legal residents of NC who meet program criteria and satisfactory academic progress.

NC Legislative Tuition Grant - awarded to legal NC residents enrolled full-time, working on their first bachelor's degree in a non-religious/sacred music major. The estimated 2010-2011 award amount is $1821.

NC Contractual Grant - awarded to legal NC residents with substantial financial need who are enrolled full-time, working on their first bachelor's degree in a non-religious/sacred music major. The annual award amount varies.

NC Student Incentive Grant - awarded by the State to students with significant financial need as determined by their FAFSA results. Deadline to be considered for this grant is March 15th. The 2010-2011 award amount is $700.

Robert C. Byrd Honors Scholarship - students are nominated by the University to compete in this State award competition. The 2010-2011 award amount is $1000.
